Tottenham goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman is happy to be back with Degerfors IF.
Whiteman has returned to the Swedes for a second loan spell this season.
"There is a fantastic culture in the club, the city and among the fans. Then being able to play at the highest level in Sweden is also great. It's about being able to continue playing matches, which is what I need and what I want to do," Whiteman told Nerikes Allehanda.
"At home in Spurs you get to train with some of the best players in the world and it's great, but in the end you want to play, especially as a goalkeeper because you will not be replaced if there is no injury or so. It was an easy decision for me to continue playing matches and hopefully help the team this year.
"I did not really know what the plan was because a new manager (Antonio Conte) had arrived. It is the club that decides whether to loan or not, so I trained and waited. I have traveled with the team at Spurs, been a third goalkeeper and sometimes sat on the bench. You learn a part of it, but it cannot be compared to playing matches. I wanted to go on loan again and I am very happy that it worked out that way."
