Tottenham left back Danny Rose has been arrested after experiencing a high speed collision in Northampton.

The 30-year-old was arrested for dangerous driving, per The Sun.

Rose was involved in an accident at 4am on the A45 in the Northampton Area.

The player is unhurt and no injuries or fatalities are reported.

His car is badly damaged due to the crash.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "We can confirm a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving on the A45 in Northampton shortly after 4am today.

"The suspect is currently being held at a police station in the county and, as such, it would be inappropriate for Northamptonshire Police to comment further at this time."
