Sevilla star Loïc Badé is attracting January transfer interest from across the continent.

That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who have this evening provided an update on the future of the French defender.

Badé, for his part, has enjoyed an impressive campaign to date in Spain, after seeing his loan move to Sevilla from Stade Rennais made permanent.

The 23-year-old has established himself as a regular starter at the heart of the Andalusians’ backline, something of a shining light amid what has proven a dismal campaign at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

And such form on Badé’s part, as alluded to above, has begun to catch the attention of rival clubs across Europe.

As per the aforementioned ED, both Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco have set their sights on the former France youth international, with a view to the 2nd half of the season.

The former view Badé as an ideal backup option to first-choice defensive target Radu Drăgușin, for whom Bayern Munich have emerged as serious contenders over the last 48 hours.

Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, meanwhile, are keen on a loan deal featuring an option to buy for the Le Havre youth product.

Despite as much, it is added that Badé actually departing Sevilla this month looks altogether unlikely, just six months on from the Nervionenses splashing out €12 million on his signature.
