Tottenham are eyeing Bayern Munich contract rebel Serge Gnabry.

The former Arsenal winger's contract is running down and expires in June of 2023.

Gnabry never made the grade at the Emirates and was sent out on-loan to West Brom in 2015 before being sold to Werder Bremen for a transfer fee in the region of just £5million, where he managed 11 goals in his only season.

He is holding out for a hefty £13m a year salary at Bayern, says the Daily Star.

But the Bundesliga giants won't be held to ransom, which has put Europe's elite on red alert.

Ambitious Spurs boss Antonio Conte is now pushing the club to table a cut-price deal given Gnabry's contract situation.

However, the Italian chief faces stiff competition for his signature.

Real Madrid are also serious suitors but need to get Gareth Bale off the books before they can commit to new arrivals.
