The Former Manchester United manager is also looking to add  Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Wolfsburg forward Wout Weghorst.

This is not good news for Manchester United.

Camavinga is already being pursued by a host of Europe’s most elite clubs. And now Tottenham have been included in that list.

Eduardo Camavinga has been a sensation for Rennes since his debut last season. His consistently brilliant performances have attracted the interest of Real Madrid, Juventus, PSG, Manchester United and Tottenham.

He also made his debut for the French national team, becoming the youngest scorer for France in a century by scoring on his debut.

Spanish champions Real Madrid were leading the race to sign the midfielder this summer, but Rennes’s reluctance to sell coupled with Camavinga wanting to stay put an end to that.

Also, Italian champions Juventus are looking to sneak in and steal the midfielder from under all of these team’s waiting grasps.

Manchester United have also identified Camavinga as a potential replacement if star midfielder Paul Pogba leaves the club.

But, now with United triggering Pogba’s contract extension, the need for Camavinga is hard to see.

The Red Devils will have to put all of their resources into action if they want to sign Camavinga before all of these competitors.

Eduardo Camavinga is valued at €50 million by TransferMarkt.
