Real Madrid are interested in Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier following his impressive displays for England at the World Cup, according to reports.

The defender was one of the Three Lions’ best performers during the tournament as Gareth Southgate’s side reached the semi-finals.

Having impressed on football’s main stage, The Sun report sources close to the player say he is aware Real are watching him.

However, we’re not entirely convinced a move will be forthcoming; not this summer, at least.

The Spanish giants this week completed the signing of Álvaro Odriozola from Real Sociedad to challenge Dani Carvajal for the starting right-back berth and now look well stocked in that position.
