It is no secret that Harry Kane is one of Manchester United’s primary targets to share the goalscoring burden that current sits with Marcus Rashford.

Even though it was a terrible season for Kane, he still managed to score 30 goals to make it another incredible individual campaign for the England captain.

Tottenham believe they will be able to fight off interest in the 29-year-old’s signature this summer, as per talkSPORT, which means United may need to look at alternatives in the market.

Kane’s contract at Spurs is set to expire next year, which means he will then be able to join a new club as a free agent.

United can’t wait that long because Erik ten Hag needs a top goalscorer for next season.

The report adds that Daniel Levy has no desire whatsoever to sell Kane to another Premier League side.

I wonder if Levy’s stance will chance if Kane begins to push for a move. We can only hope he shows his hand and wants to join United ahead of next season.
