Tottenham are inching closer to appointing Paulo Fonseca as their new manager.
Spurs have been without a permanent first team head coach since the sacking of Jose Mourinho in April.
They were expected to secure former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte, but those talks broke down.
According to the BBC, former Roma boss Fonseca is now the main candidate, given the club's hiring of Fabio Paratici as sporting director this summer.
The report states that talks between the clubs are going well and that a successful conclusion is expected in the coming days.
