Tottenham’s Carabao Cup clash against Leyton Orient has been called off after the League Two club recorded several positive coronavirus tests.
Leyton Orient were due to host Spurs in their third round clash on Tuesday, but confirmed on Monday that squad members had tested positive for COVID-19 and were self-isolating.
EFL clubs no longer have to conduct mandatory coronavirus tests on their players and staff on a weekly basis this season, as is still permitted in the Premier League.
It remains unclear whether Tottenham will be afforded an automatic by into the next round, or if the game will be rescheduled for a later date.
