Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris admits he remains in contact with Paris Saint Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino was sacked by Spurs last season and took charge of Paris Saint Germain midway through this term. While refusing to consider speculation linking him to a reunion with Pochettino at Paris Saint Germain this summer, Lloris is adamant fans will see big improvements from the Parisiens next season as the Argentine fully beds down his methods.

While enjoying instant success in Europe, with Pochettino guiding Paris Saint Germain to a Champions League semi-final against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, his team have stumbled at times in Ligue 1.

For the moment, Paris Saint Germain sit in second-place on the table, a point behind leaders Lille. AS Monaco are a point behind PSG in third place and Olympique Lyon a further point behind in fourth.

"With Mauricio, we are always in contact," Lloris told Canal+ via Le 10 Sport.

"I am very happy for him and for their qualification for the semi-finals (of the Champions League). Glad to see him with that smile, his energy, that look.

"Next season you will see his touch and his style."

Pochettino was named coach of PSG just days after the Christmas Eve sacking of Thomas Tuchel, who is now in charge of Chelsea.
