A late wonder-goal from Pedro Porro saw Tottenham ease past Burnley into the next round of the FA Cup.

It was a stalemate in the early going as neither side managed to get a foothold inside 10 minutes.

Spurs began to take control of the tempo however, and their first chance fell to Richarlison, but the Brazilian sent his effort wide after getting in behind.

Tottenham remained in control for 20 minutes, carving out a flurry of half-chances, but the Burnley threat on the break grew more and more ominous as the hosts failed to take advantage of their superiority.

Scoring chances were a rarity in the second-half, giving underdogs Burnley a bit of momentum as the game remained at 0-0 late on.

A moment of magic was needed to break the deadlock, and a moment of magic is just what Pedro Porro provided in the final 15 minutes, lacing a shot into the side-netting of the goal to set the Tottenham Hotspur stadium alight.

Fulham down Rotheram to book fourth round place

Scorers: De Cordova-Reid 24′

Fulham scraped past the Championship’s bottom side Rotheram.

Fulham dominated the ball in the early going, as expected, but the Rotheram backline remained sturdy as the home side probed for their opener.

The opener finally did come before the half-hour mark, as Bobby De Cordova-Reid pounced on a giveaway to fire a rocket into the roof of the net.

Rotheram grew into the game after the restart as Fulham took their foot off the gas. But the Championship side struggled to piece together any meaningful scoring opportunities.

Any sort of fightback was too-little, too-late from the visitors, as Fulham held on to move into the next round by the skin of their teeth.

Ten-man Wolves force replay after draw with Brentford

Scorers: Maupay 42′ ; Doyle 64′

Ten-man Wolves fought back to earn a draw away to Brentford and force a replay at the Molineux.

It was the worst possible start for Wolves who found themselves down a man inside 10 minutes thanks to a red-card shown to João Gomes for a dangerous challenge on Christian Nørgaard, who was eventually subbed off after receiving treatment.

Physicality reigned supreme in the 30 minutes after the Gomes sending off, as the two managers grew frustrated by a fair few challenges that were flying in on the pitch.

The Bees finally punished their visitors before the end of the first-half as Neal Maupay collected a loose ball before firing home from close-range.

Brentford remained in control after the restart, taking full advantage of their numerical superiority.

The tie was flipped on its head past the hour mark however, as youngster Tommy Doyle showed his supreme quality for a rocket from outside of the box into the top-corner, drawing his side level against the run of play.
