Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed Toby Alderweireld is leaving the club to join Qatari side Al-Duhail.

The Belgian defender moves for a fee reported to be in the region of £13m six years after joining Spurs from Atlético Madrid.

“We have reached agreement with Al-Duhail SC in Qatar for the transfer of Toby Alderweireld,” read the club’s statement.
