Ederson proved himself a star in Atalanta’s Europa League final win over Bayer Leverkusen, igniting interest from Tottenham and Newcastle.
The 24-year-old Brazilian midfielder was quietly one of the best on the pitch at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday evening, appearing to be all over the pitch as he helped drive la Dea to their first trophy in six decades, proving himself a top talent.
Atalanta are open to selling a few players in the summer, with Teun Koopmeiners in particular expected to depart for a high fee, but another midfielder could soon be on the way out on in Bergamo.
The Daily Mirror claims Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United are all interested in making a move for Atalanta’s Ederson in the summer, with the former two scouting the midfielder on a handful of occasions this season.
The 24-year-old is considered suitable for the fast-paced Premier League but wouldn’t come cheap, likely commanding a fee of around €50m considering that his contract in Bergamo lasts to June 2027.
