What is the latest news involving Jesus and Richarlison?

According to gianlucadimarzio.com, there is a “north London derby” for Jesus, with both Tottenham and Arsenal interested in the Manchester City star.

However, it is the latter who are thought to be winning the race for his signature, with GOAL recently reporting that they are closing in on a deal to sign him.

Jesus is not the only attacker that Spurs have been targeting, though.

Multiple outlets, including the MailOnline, have claimed that Tottenham are also interested in signing Richarlison, though they could face competition from Arsenal once again and Chelsea.

What has Sheth said about Jesus, Richarlison and Tottenham?

Discussing the versatility of Jesus and Richarlison amid Tottenham’s interest, Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: “Those two names would fit that profile [Spurs are looking for], absolutely.

Gabriel Jesus, I mean, a couple of years ago, we were talking about him being a central striker, but last season, he was playing out on the wing and the likes of [Kevin] De Bruyne and Phil Foden, nowhere near being an out-and-out No.9, would play in that central striking role.”

How much could Jesus and Richarlison cost this summer?

Despite having just one year to run on his contract, Jesus is expected to cost around £50m.

While City seem prepared to let him go, he is still a very good footballer, capable of playing in more than one position in the frontline. In his career so far, the Brazil international has scored a total of 116 goals.

As for Richarlison, Everton are looking for a bit more than the £50m the Premier League champions want for his compatriot. The MailOnline claims the Merseyside club want in excess of £50m for the former Watford man, who has found the back of the net 78 times since making his professional debut.

Like Jesus, Richarlison can also play up front and out wide, so it is not a surprise that he is attracting a lot of interest, too.

Be it him or the City forward, Tottenham will be hoping that they can bring at least one of the two Brazilians to Hotspur Way, with Conte needing an effective alternative to Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
