Torino have set their sights on European competition and have been urged to keep three stars wanted by Premier League clubs ahead of the summer.
The Granata currently find themselves ninth in the Serie A table with six games left to play, 10 behind fifth place Roma and five behind sixth place Atalanta. Earlier in the campaign, Ivan Juric suggested he’d leave the club in the summer should they fail to qualify for European competition.
Whilst Torino have struggled to find consistency in results on the pitch this season, three stars in particular have managed to standout – Alessandro Buongiorno, Raoul Bellanova and Samuele Ricci, all of whom have attracted attention from the Premier League.
Page 10 of today’s Tuttosport urged Torino to keep their star trio Buongiorno, Bellanova and Ricci, believing them to be key in the fight to take the next step forward in this project. Despite the Premier League interest, the trio play a key role in the fight for European confirmation.
Keeping the three could also be enough to convince Juric to stay with the club beyond this season, regardless of whether they secure European competition this year or not.
