Torino are ready to reignite their interest in signing Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Torino have been among the Serie A clubs to show a strong interest in Inter striker Francesco Pio Esposito.

Last summer, the Granata had been the top flight team with the strongest interest in the teenage striker’s signature.

However, in the end Pio Esposito stayed at Spezia instead.

The 19-year-old had spent last season on loan with the Ligurian club already. And he decided to remain there to continue his development.

The decision to remain at Spezia has looked like a wise one for Pio Esposito.

The young striker has been in blazing form this season. He has already scored thirteen goals in Serie B for the campaign.

Therefore, it certainly looks inevitable that Pio Esposito will take the step up to the top flight next season.

But it’s uncertain what club that will be at.

Reportedly, Napoli made an offer for the teenage striker. They didn’t want to sign him on loan – they want to sign Pio Esposito outright.

But Inter rejected that bid.

Meanwhile, from the Premier League the likes of Manchester United and Leicester City have reportedly expressed an interest in Pio Esposito’s signature.

Then, Pio Esposito could very well even be part of Inter’s first team squad next season.

But according to Tuttosport, Torino are also pushing to sign the teenager over the summer.
