Erling Haaland

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Erling Haaland has completed his transfer to Premier League champions Manchester City. Lisandro Martinez

Lisandro Martinez has signed a five-year deal with Manchester United for £56.7m. United paid €57.37 million (£48.3 million) for the Argentine, plus €10 million (£8.4 million) in add-ons. At Old Trafford, Martinez reunites with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract with a one-year extension. Martinez averaged more passes per 90 minutes than any Eredivisie player last season, and only two players made more forward passes. These figures show Martinez’s ability to play past opposing lines and pick out teammates from a distance. No Ajax player averaged more long passes per 90 minutes last season. His versatility and technical skills made him attractive to Premier League clubs.

Darwin Nunez

Liverpool finalized the signing of the striker Darwin Nunez from Benfica for a club-record sum of £85 million. Both a work visa and international clearance are required for the deal to go through. To replace Divock Origi, Darwin will wear the No. 27 jersey at Anfield.
