Chelsea should be prepared for their resolve to be tested in regards to Levi Colwill in 2025 having ignored an enquiry from Bayern Munich last summer according to The Athletic.
Colwill came through the ranks at Chelsea and signed a new long term contract with the club in 2023 to cement his status as an important part of the project.
The England international played out of position at left back on a number of occasions last season, whilst he also missed the back end of the campaign through injury.
Colwill is now in his second season with the Blues having had a successful loan spell with Brighton during the 2022/2023 campaign.
Under Enzo Maresca he’s started every league game and alongside Wesley Fofana the duo are Chelsea’s first choice partnership, with Noni Madueke describing the pairing as perfect.

Colwill has put in a series of impressive performances and has got himself back in the England fold, whilst he also took the decision to move back home to Southampton.
The 21-year-old is clearly very happy at Chelsea, although that won’t stop potential suitors making enquiries like has happened in the past.
As well as Bayern both Brighton and Liverpool have expressed interest previously, although Chelsea’s stance has always been he’s not for sale.
With the January transfer window fast approaching The Athletic have reported the Blues should be prepared for their resolve on Colwill to be tested yet again in 2025.

The report adds big clubs in Europe continue to monitor Colwill’s progress, but the Blues are under no pressure to sell, nor do they have a desire to sell the Cobham graduate.
Colwill took Thiago Siva’s number six shirt for this season and he’s had to step into the void left by the Brazilian with Maresca praising his leadership capabilities, and although Chelsea are looking to bring in another centre back Colwill is set for a long and established career at Stamford Bridge.
