The Athletic recently reported that Arsenal are targeting a summer move for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice and are growing in confidence that a deal can be done.
The 24-year-old will have just a year left to run on his contract in the summer with West Ham having an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
Rice would not come cheap but would add immense quality and leadership to Arsenal’s midfield.
Earlier this month, the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg reported that Chelsea have looked at Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as Graham Potter is interested in signing a striker this summer.
Osimhen, who has also been linked with several other clubs including Manchester United, is having a terrific season at Napoli having scored 25 goals in 29 games in all competitions.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is known for being a tough negotiator and any deal for the Nigerian forward would involve a significant transfer fee.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
England’s new all-time record goalscorer will have just one year left to run on his contract this summer and Spurs may decide to cash in.
Kane is having another prolific season in front of goal having scored 21 goals in the Premier League – a figure only bettered by Erling Braut Haaland.
The England captain is desperate to win silverware at club level and could be ready to sever ties with Tottenham at the end of the season.
Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier this week that Liverpool are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
The England international, who will have just a year left to run on his contract at the end of the season, is yet to agree on a new deal.
Liverpool have also been strongly linked with a move for Jude Bellingham this summer. However, David Ornstein recently reported they are ‘increasingly unlikely’ to sign him.
Mount could represent a shrewd alternative given his quality. He has Premier League experience and would be a more affordable option than Bellingham.
According to TyC Sports, Manchester City want Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister to replace potential Barcelona signing Ilkay Gundogan this summer.
The 24-year-old played a key role in Argentina’s World Cup triumph last year and has performed well for the Seagulls this term.
Given that Gundogan looks increasingly likely to leave City this summer, Mac Allister would be a quality replacement who could serve the club well over the next few years.
