Who has won the most Champions Leagues?

Here are the top five clubs with the most Champions League title wins, ranked from the least to the most, and there are some huge European giants on this team.

As mentioned before, the Champions League started in 1955, and this ranking starts from that date up until the present day.

5: FC Barcelona - Champions League Trophies: 5

The Catalan side are huge in La Liga and have been one of the best sides in Europe for many decades, and this is shown by the fact that they have won the Champions League five times in their history.

With squads over the years that included players like Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Carlos Puyol, Pique, Xavi and Iniesta, as well as an amazing manager in Pep Guardiola, Barcelona were always going to dominate in Europe on multiple occasions.

4: Bayern Munich - Champions League Trophies: 6

Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have been able to dominate German football for many years, and have also managed to lift the Champions League trophy on six separate occasions. Many will remember their side which possessed talents like Robert Lewandowski, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, and they have been very unlucky not to win a few more European titles along the way.

3: Liverpool - Champions League Trophies: 6

The only Premier League side to be on this list is Liverpool and they have had a love hate relationship with the Champions League as they have been involved in three finals since 2018, but only won one. This has not stopped them being in this top five list as they have managed to lift the Champions League trophy six times.

Many will remember their heroics in Istanbul and players who have been crucial for them in this competition have been Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Sadio Mane, Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.

2: AC Milan - Champions League Trophies: 7

Serie A side AC Milan have been one of the best in Europe in the history of the Champions League; however, they have not been able to replicate this winning feeling the competition over recent years. Hopefully, they get back to their best in Europe soon as their squads of old contained amazing players like Clarence Seedorf, Kaka, Andriy Shevchenko and Paulo Maldini.

Spanish side Real Madrid hold the bragging rights as they have managed to lift the Champions League trophy the most out of any side in Europe, and they are miles clear of the rest. As you can see, they have won the competition 14 times, and this included three times in a row under former manager Zinedine Zidane. Some of the players who have helped them list this trophy include Roberto Carlos, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric.
