Is there a better feeling than the ball hitting the back of the net?

Absolutely not. But what’s even better? Players at the top of their game leaving you speechless with some absurd strikes.

So we decided to chart five best acrobatic goals from 2018.

Gareth Bale

It’s the Champions League final and there’s nothing to separate both teams. So what does Bale do? Hit a first time bicycle kick straight into the top corner. Ridiculous finish.

Cristiano Ronaldo

We know Ronaldo has a taste for the spectacular but this stunning strike not only silenced the Juventus stadium, but earned a standing ovation too. One of the all time great moments.

Zlatan Ibrahimović

If anyone was going to score this goal, it was Zlatan. How did he even get his leg to swivel that way? How did he get it so high? Not a bad way to bag your 500th career goal.

Layvin Kurzawa

One straight from the training ground. Neymar drills it in with pinpoint accuracy and Kurzawa did the rest. Look at the pace on the ball! Unbelievable.

Eder

One slightly left field suggestion, but an incredible piece of skill nonetheless. Euro 2016 hero Eder scored this ridiculous goal for Lokomotiv in the Russian Cup.
