Chelsea believe Nicolas Jackson is worth more than the fees paid for both Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Sesko this summer according to reports.
Jackson is facing serious questions over his future following the arrival of both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.
Pedro in-particular made an instant impact at the Club World Cup with goals in the both the semi final and final, and Jackson has competition for his place for the first time in his Chelsea career.
The Chelsea attack has undergone somewhat of a revamp this summer with Jamie Gittens also being signed, whilst the Blues are working on deals for Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.
Jackson has been first choice since signing from Villarreal in 2023 , and he scored 14 goals in his debut campaign, but struggled last season and managed just ten after a good first half of the season.

The Senegalese is attracting interest from a number of clubs in both Europe and the Premier League, although Chelsea are yet to receive any offers.
Jackson has reportedly been offered to three clubs including AC Milan this summer, although it’s believed the Italians can’t afford him.
After missing out on Sesko, Newcastle are believed to be considering a move for Jackson, with Chelsea said to value the 24-year-old at around £80m.
Mail Sport have reported the Blues won’t let Jackson leave on the cheap and believe he’s worth more than the offers for Ekitike and Sesko.
Jackson is training with Chelsea at Cobham and will likely feature against Bayer Leverkusen on Friday or AC Milan on Sunday.
Whilst there are questions over Jackson’s future, Chelsea are still working on completing a deal with Leipzig for Simons.
