Coming off the back of a very impressive 2018 World Cup campaign which saw France lift the biggest cup in international football, Antoine Griezmann was in high demand. Still, no one anticipated him to move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona.

His performances caught the attention of Europe’s top sides, but the Frenchman opted to join Barcelona in the 2018/19 season.

He also put on fine performances in the Europa League, where he bagged three times in six appearances.
