Most recently winners in Ajaccio (0-2), the Rouge et Blanc have continued their exceptional form on the road this season, which places them among the best in the league after 14 matches away from home.

They are unstoppable! By this weekend in Corsica (0-2), just before the international break, the AS Monaco players confirmed their exceptional form away from home this season. They’ll hope to do the same at the Stade Louis-II as soon as the season resumes against Strasbourg (Sunday April 2, 5:05 p.m.), but in the meantime here’s all you need to know about their record to date. 📊

The second-best record in the top flight 🥈

First of all, Philippe Clement’s players recorded their ninth away win in Ligue 1 this season in Corsica. After 14 games played by most top flight clubs away from home, the Rouge et Blanc have 31 points (9 wins, 4 draws), the second-highest total in the league, level with PSG. Only Olympique de Marseille have a better record on the road (34 points, 11 wins, 2 draws).

It is important to have more and more fans in the stadium. Away from home there are always a lot of supporters and that gives players extra strength to get results. It is very important for them, and these are things that can be decisive in the outcome of a match.

Unbeaten since October 23 💪

The teammates of  Wissam Ben Yedder, who scored his 17th goal – his 80th in Ligue 1 withAS Monaco as he was voted MVP of the match, had previously brought down Strasbourg, Nice, Reims, Montpellier, Toulouse, Auxerre, Clermont and Brest at home. It’s very simple, the last defeat suffered by the Monegasques away in the league dates to October 23 in Lille (4-3).

This unbeaten run away from the Principality therefore extends to eight games (5 wins, 3 draws), while the team have scored in each of their last 19 away matches in Ligue 1 (41 goals). It is simply the best current run in the European Big 5 according to Opta! AS Monaco is thus the only team to have scored during each of its trips this season in the five major European leagues.
