The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) unveiled its updated monthly ranking of national teams this Thursday, July 10. This new ranking highlights several notable changes, both on the global and African stages.At the world level, Argentina firmly retains the top spot, ahead of Spain (2nd), France (3rd), England (4th), and Brazil (5th).On the African continent, Morocco continues to assert its dominance, holding steady at 12th in the global ranking with 1,698.72 points. The Atlas Lions once again demonstrate their consistency at the summit of African football.Senegal climbs up to 18th in the world, becoming the new continental runner-up. Egypt drops slightly to 34th globally (3rd in Africa).Algeria maintains its 36th place worldwide and remains 4th in Africa, while Nigeria loses ground and slips to 44th place (5th among African teams).Despite their recent AFCON triumph, Ivory Coast falls four spots to 45th globally and 6th on the continent.Tunisia is ranked 49th in the world, occupying 7th place in Africa, ahead of Cameroon (51st), Mali (54th), and South Africa (57th), rounding out the African top 10.
