Toni Kroos has confirmed he will come out of international retirement next month.

Kroos hasn’t played for Germany since 2021 having called time on his international career following his country’s loss to England at the European Championships that summer.

The Real Madrid veteran however has now reversed that decision and will make himself available for coach Julian Nagelsmann for their March friendlies.

Germany will be hosting Euro 2024 in June where they have been drawn in Group A alongside Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland.

A statement on Kroos’ Instagram confirmed that he was asked to return by Naglesmann and will be taking on France and Netherlands during the next international break.
