Roma midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi was clear in his analysis of today’s result at the U-Power Stadium in Monza.
The ex-Empoli player spoke to the club after match to discuss the team’s performance.
“We deserved to win. We had many goal-scoring opportunities, but we weren’t able to convert them,” said Baldanzi.
“We conceded a goal on one of the very few chances they had. We’re disappointed because we could have taken home the 3 points. We’ll keep working.”
“The penalty? For me it was a clear penalty. The referee said it wasn’t so but I still maintain Monza’s defender stomped my foot.”
