Arsenal entertained Everton at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 40th minute when Idrissa Gueye found the back of the net. However, Takehiro Tomiyasu equalised for the home side just three minutes later as the two teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Kai Havertz ended up scoring the winning goal in the 89th minute as the Gunners secured a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Toffees.
GK: David Raya – 6/10
Raya made one solid save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.
RB: Ben White – 6/10
He earned possession back once and made two good chances in the final third.
CB: William Saliba – 6.5/10
Saliba kept things solid inside his half for most of the game.
CB: Gabriel – 6/10
The Brazilian talent was accurate with his passing and was replaced in the 58th minute.

LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – 8/10
Tomiyasu was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and managed to score the all-important equaliser in the latter stages of the first half.
CM: Martin Odegaard – 8/10
Odegaard was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with a couple of assists to his name.
CM: Thomas Partey – 6/10
He anchored the midfield well and was replaced in the 68th minute.
CM: Declan Rice – 7/10
Rice made two decent chances for others around him.
RW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7.5/10
He was a real menace in the final third but there was no goal for him this afternoon.
ST: Kai Havertz – 8/10
Havertz managed to score the winning goal in the 89th minute but it was not enough for Arsenal to secure the Premier League title.
LW: Leandro Trossard – 6/10
He made one key chance in the final third but failed to find the back of the net.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 6/10
He made one good chance in the final third.
CM: Emile Smith Rowe – 6.5/10
Smith Rowe added some energy to Arteta’s midfield.
