Tom Rogic the only Celtic player included in SPFL Team of the Week | OneFootball

Tom Rogic has been included in the SPFL Team of the Week after his impressive performance at Tannadice on Sunday. Despite an impressive win with performances from Kyogo, McGregor and Turnbull all earning plaudits, Rogic was the only Celtic player included. It was an excellent team performance from Celtic and one that sets the Celts up for a congested run of fixtures towards the turn of the year.

It was a truly outstanding effort from Rogic and one that will excite the manager as well as the support.

Rogic opened the scoring at the weekend in the win at Tannadice with a goal of the season contender and we are seeing a resurgence of the Australian midfielder after a disappointing year last season under Neil Lennon. He was excellent in the recent win over Hearts and it is exciting having him back to fitness. This season, he has played 24 times, scoring twice and assisting four times. Last year, Rogic made 31 appearances in all competitions and scored the same amount and assisted just one more time than he has already. If he can keep himself fit, he will increase upon those numbers and continue to show Celtic what he is all about.
