Serie A giants Roma have been working to sign Chelsea’s Tyrique George and today is expected to be key in the move.

Corriere dello Sport report today that there have been relentless contacts between Roma and Chelsea regarding a move for the talent.

The Italian side do not want to spend over €20 million including loan fee and permanent fee. The Blues want a fee of €25 million and a resale fee of 25 to 30 percent.

The 19-year-old has opened up to the possibility of joining Roma and his salary is not expected to be a problem for the club. Today is likely to be a turning point in the deal and will determine if George really leaves Chelsea for Roma or not.

Ricky Massara Massara will have the final contact with the London club to determine the feasibility of the deal. If the figures don’t add up, the sporting director will then look at other, more accessible options.
