Manchester United academy graduate Toby Collyer is in line to make his first appearance under new head coach Ruben Amorim after the midfielder was included in the club’s travelling squad to face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday.

United will make their way to Doosan Arena on Thursday to take on the Czech First League outfit. Ahead of the fixture, the club have confirmed their 24-man travelling party.

Collyer, who last played for the Red Devils during the 7-0 demolition of Barnsley in the League Cup in September, has been sidelined for several weeks with a knock.

He was part of the group that trained at Carrington on Wednesday.

In fact, apart from Luke Shaw, every other player was part of the training session. Ruben Amorim therefore has a nearly fully fit squad to choose from.

The other star who will not be available to Amorim for selection is veteran defender Jonny Evans. Despite training with his teammates, Evans has not been included in the travelling contingent.

Evans last lined up for United during Amorim’s opening game in charge against Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town. He sustained an injury, which has kept him out of action since.

Although their league form has declined with back-to-back losses to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, United are performing well in the Europa League after a rocky start.

The 20-time English champions kickstarted their Europa League campaign with three consecutive draws against FC Twente, Porto, and Fenerbahce.

However, victories over PAOK and Bodo/Glimt have put them back in contention for automatic qualification to the next round.

United’s full travelling squad

Goalkeepers: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Andre Onana.

Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Matthijs De Ligt, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Toby Collyer, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Manuel Ugarte.

Forwards: Amad, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee.

Viktoria Plzen vs. United kicks off at 17:45 GMT.
