The New Saints have made history tonight, becoming the first Welsh League side to both ever score a goal and win a game in European competition.

Due to their own ground not being big enough, TNS are playing their first home game in Europe at Shrewsbury Town’s New Meadow stadium in front of little over 1,000 fans.

Everyone in attendance will remember the night, as they were all witness to a bit of history. While Swansea and Wrexham have played and scored in Europe, it was as part of the English league, meaning TNS are trailblazers for the local game in the principality.
