According to the Daily Mail, Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has refused to commit his future to the club amid links with the Tottenham Hotspur job.

In fact, recent reports have even claimed that Tottenham and Conte have held ‘fruitful and interesting’ talks over the possibility of him taking over the reins at the club.

Conte is one of the most successful managers in the current era. The 51-year-old recently won his fourth Serie A title, leading Inter Milan to top honours in his second season in charge at the club. Prior to that, he had won three Scudettos with Juventus while he also won the Premier League title and an FA Cup while in charge of Chelsea.

Even though he has led the team to success this term, Conte’s future remains a tad bit uncertain in Italy. And when quizzed if he would be staying for another year at the club, the former Chelsea boss appeared coy and non-committal. (h/t Daily Mail)

“I’ll be staying or leaving Inter? Now we enjoy the celebrations, then we’ll meet and decide. We will choose the best destiny for Inter.”

Given his track record and achievements, it goes without saying that landing Conte would be quite the coup for Tottenham. However, having led Inter to the title and earned passage to the Champions League for next season, it remains to be seen if he would be open to making the jump to north London.
