Juventus lost further ground on the Serie A title chase after they were stunned 1-0 at home by Benevento.
A second-half strike from Adolfo Gaich was enough to secure victory at the Allianz Stadium.
Scorers: Gaich 70′
In a first half with few opportunities, Juventus came closest to breaking the deadlock through Matthijs de Ligt who saw his header saved well by goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo.
Álvaro Morata also went close but fired straight at Montipo before the Bianconeri were awarded a penalty – only for VAR to correctly overturn the decision.
And it was Benevento who surprisingly went ahead, with Arthur gifting Adolfo Gaich the ball with a ridiculous cross-field pass before the Argentine fired past Wojciech Szczesny.
Ronaldo then had two late chances in quick succession; one free-kick fired over and another effort saved by Montipo who impressed between the posts.
Juventus were unable to find a leveller despite eight minutes of injury time being added on, leaving them 10 points behind league leaders Inter.
