Roma’s goalkeeper Alisson reportedly gets the start between the sticks. Thiago Silva will captain the side and partner Miranda in the middle of defence. Fagner will start at right-back while Filipe Luís fills in for the injured Marcelo.

Real Madrid’s Casemiro will guard the back-line and free up the other central players to attack. Paulinho provides height on set pieces and his almost signature late-arriving run into the box.

Philippe Coutinho offers moments of brilliance from midfield while Willian and Neymar attack from the flanks behind Gabriel Jesus.

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino does not get the chance to lead the line from the start from should offer Tite an attacking option from the bench.

Full-back Danilo is back fit but Tite is rewarding Fagner for his strong play recently. Douglas Costa misses out for Willian and will have to look on at the starting whistle.
