Fulham have completed the signing of Timothy Castagne from Leicester City.

“I feel very good. It’s been a long transfer window, but finally I’m here, and I’m happy to be here,” Castagne told the club’s official website.

“It’s a big relief. I’ve talked to the manager and I just can’t wait to start training and playing.”

A 33-cap Belgian international, the 27-year-old can play right-back or left-back and will add versatility to the Cottagers’ backline.

He joined Leicester from Atalanta in 2020 and went on to make 112 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and assisting eight others.

He was part of the Foxes side that were relegated last season but he now returns to the Premier League, and could make his Fulham debut away at Manchester City on Saturday.
