It feels like a lot has gone against Timo Werner recently.
He’s missed some good chances in previous games and even had a goal ruled out for offside in the early stages of tonight’s Champions League semi-final with Real Madrid.
But he was on hand to head in to an empty net to put the hosts in-front after Kai Havertz’s chipped effort had rebounded off the bar.
It was the German’s first goal from open play in the competition this season, after previously scoring three penalties.
And it turns out, he’s actually having a pretty decent first season at Stamford Bridge …
Will it be enough to take them to the final?
