Tidiane Diallo and Nolan Ferro finish as runners-up at the U-17 World Cup | OneFootball

As they did last June at the Euros, Tidiane Diallo and Nolan Ferro came home with a silver medal from the U-17 World Cup.

History repeated itself for our two youngsters from the Racing Mutest Academy. Already finalists in the U17 Euros in June, also against Germany, our Bleuets saw the title escape them at the end of a cruel penalty shootout… just like in the final of the Euros.

Behind 2-0 in this final against the Mannschaft, France nevertheless showed great character by coming back from two goals down to take the match to a penalty shootout. Despite two saves from the French goalkeeper in the shootout, it was Germany who won the shootout, 4 goals to 3.

If Nolan Ferro did not come into play during this final, Tidiane Diallo took part in the last 10 minutes.
