Ticket sales for England’s Finalissima fixture against Brazil top 60,000 | OneFootball

The Football Association have today announced that more than 60,000 tickets have been snapped up for the Women’s Finalissima 2023 fixture between England and Brazil.

Two of world football’s heavyweights will meet at Wembley Stadium on Thursday 6 April 2023 to contest the inaugural women’s fixture. The game sees the European champions go head-to-head with the South American champions in a fixture which mirrors the men’s Finalissima which last saw Italy take on Argentina at Wembley in June.

Tickets for the Women’s Finalissima 2023 went on sale on Monday morning. After the first three days of sales, The Football Association have confirmed that more than 60,000 tickets have already been snapped up. On the back of last month’s sold out international friendly between England and the United States at Wembley, it seems likely that the Lionesses are poised to attract another full house for their next appearance at ‘The Home of Football’.

England won their first European title in July with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Germany in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 final at Wembley. Less than 24 hours before England’s European success, Brazil were lifting the 2022 Copa América Femenina title after beating Colombia 1-0 in Bucaramanga. England and Brazil are now set to contest a thrilling match at Wembley as they look to land another piece of silverware.
