Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly started targeting Marcus Thuram as they look to replace Kylian Mbappe, prompting Inter to take a clear position ahead of the summer.
The Parisians are expected to make a few high-profile moves this summer as they look to try and strengthen the squad following the imminent departure of Mbappe, who is widely expected to leave on a free transfer to join up with Real Madrid.
PSG have drawn up a long list of interesting targets ahead of the summer, including Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Milan’s Rafael Leao, putting Serie A clubs on high alert in the months leading to the transfer window.
Page 23 of today’s Tuttosport details how PSG have set their sights on Thuram ahead of the summer, appreciating his ability to play as both a central striker and out wide on the wing.
Inter aren’t completely against the idea of a sale, aware that a deal for the Frenchman could be used to fund the rest of their summer transfer window, especially considering that he arrived on a free transfer last year.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly set an €80m price tag on Thuram, giving PSG a clear number to aim for should they ultimately decide to pursue the 26-year-old striker.
