Three Premier League clubs are reportedly considering making a January move for Newcastle defender Javier Manquillo.

The Spaniard will be out of contract in the summer, which provides the Magpies an incentive to cash in rather than risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.

The Telegraph has reported that Crystal Palace, Brighton, and West Ham are all monitoring the situation.

Manquillo has failed to nail down a regular starting place since moving to Tyneside from Atlético Madrid in July 2017, but he has forced his way into Steve Bruce’s plans recently.

He has started the last four league games and has impressed during his run in the team.

The 25-year-old spent time on loan at Liverpool and Sunderland earlier in his career.
