Three new signings have been added to Manchester City’s Champions League squad

Manchester City made four signings in the January transfer window. Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzàlez, Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis all arrived at the club. Unfortunately, there was always going to be one new signing who’d miss out on selection in Manchester City’s Champions League squad for the knockout stage of the competition. When City’s squad was announced that was young centre-back Vitor Reis.

Manchester City announced their updated Champions League squad on Friday. Omar Marmoush, Nico Gonzàlez and Abdukodir Khusanov were added to the squad. Rodri was also included in Manchester City’s Champions League squad. That is a move that has been made just in case City progresses in the competition and Rodri becomes available. Outside of Rodri’s inclusion City’s squad was what was expected to be named. The inclusion of Marmoush, Gonzàlez and Khusanov does give the Manchester City squad a stronger look. As does the prospect of a host of City players returning from injury.
