Dartford, Dulwich Hamlet and Ebbsfleet United, as well as Bristol Rovers all beat FAWNL opponents in the Women’s FA Cup 1st Round Proper.

Three London & South East League sides knocked out FA Women’s National League teams, as Ebbsfleet United, Dulwich and Dartford eliminated Chesham United, London Bees and Abingdon United respectively, while South West League Bristol Rovers put put Portishead Town. Ebbsfleet twice trailed at Chesham, before Amelia Woodgate hit an 80th-minute winner.

Another two L&SERL sides were very close to shock wins. Saltdean United took AFC Wimbledon all the way to sudden-death penalties before the Dons eventually progressed 8-7, Sutton United let slip a 2-0 lead before losing out 4-3 after extra-time to Maidenhead United.

North West League West Didsbury & Chorlton lead Leeds United 2-1 early in the second half before going out 6-2, Mancunian Unity lost out 9-2 at home to Newcastle United but had over 650 in attendance.

Fourth-tier Norwich City edged out third-tier title-chasers in Hashtag United with an Ellie Smith effort, Durham Cestria won at Fylde with an early Faye Dayle goal.

Eastern League Premier side Needham Market trailed 3-1 at Division 1 North leaders Dussindale & Hellesdon with 15 minutes to go but dramatically overturned the deficit to go through 4-3.

The 2nd Round draw will be published on Monday 13 November at 1pm.
