Emmanuel Adebayor is “desperate” to return to the Premier League and could get his wish before Friday’s transfer deadline.
According to the Daily Mail, the ex-Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham striker wants to play in England’s top flight again.
Adebayor has previously spent 11 seasons in the Premier League, also spending a year on loan with Crystal Palace.
He scored 97 Premier League goals in that time, though his last two seasons saw him net just three times in 25 appearances.
The Togolese striker has been in Turkey since 2016, scoring 30 goals in 84 appearances across all competitions.
Now, though, he could head back to England with Newcastle, Aston Villa and Brighton all linked.
Adebayor, now 35, left Kayserispor in December and is now a free agent.
