Three of Inter’s midfielders that have been linked with moves away from the club this summer have decided that they want to stay and fight for their place in the team, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the three players in question are Arturo Vidal, Stefano Sensi, and Matias Vecino.

Due to the fact that Inter need to end the transfer window with a profit of at least €80 million and they need to reduce the wage budget by 15%, these three players were all expected to leave the club as none were key performers for Antonio Conte last year.

Arturo Vidal has received offers from Boca Juniors and Flamengo but he is keen to stay at Inter. Interest around Matias Vecino has been relatively minimal but Simone Inzaghi feels he can still offer something to the squad in rotation.

Stefano Sensi looked very close to joining Fiorentina but that move has not materialised as he wants to resurrect his injury-riddled Inter career.
