FC Barcelona continue to benefit financially from sell-on clauses involving former players.

The Blaugrana have already profited from Jean-Clair Todibo’s permanent transfer to West Ham United while Ez Abde’s imminent move to Italy is also set to rake in cash.

Ilaix Moriba is all set to join Celta Vigo permanently from RB Leipzig which will lead to a small boost for Barça.

Now, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, the three most active cases currently that are set to bring more financial benefit for Barcelona are Oscar Mingueza (Celta Vigo), Mika Marmol (Las Palmas), and Ferran Jutgla (Club Brugge).

Oscar Mingueza

The versatile defender has not responded to Celta Vigo’s offer to renew his contract. With one year remaining, he could leave on a free transfer next summer. Barcelona would prefer a transfer now, as they retain 50% of the player’s rights.

However, Celta are only willing to sell for the full release clause amount, which stands at €20 million – half of which would go to Barça. Marseille are unwilling to meet that valuation. Wolfsburg are also showing interest but have not made an official move.

The future of Mika Marmol at Las Palmas is uncertain. Although club president Miguel Angel Ramirez has stated that the centre-back will stay, his departure seems likely sooner or later.

The defender’s contract runs until 2026, but Barça still own 50% of his rights. His release clause is €10 million, and several Serie A clubs have enquired about his situation. Interest from AS Roma, however, has cooled in recent weeks.

Ferran Jutgla

Ferran Jutgla was transferred to Club Brugge in July 2022, earning Barça between €4.5 and €5 million. The club also retained 10% of any future profit made by Brugge from a resale.

Jutgla arrived at Barça on a free transfer, so any earnings represent pure profit for the club’s accounts. He is attracting interest from several Spanish clubs, which aligns with his desire to return to La Liga, although no concrete offer has yet been made.
