One of the names at FC Barcelona that has been linked to a potential exit this summer is Marc Casado. The Spaniard, despite his young age, has reportedly attracted a lot of attention. Moreover, some serious suitors seem to remain interested.

According to a recent report, multiple European clubs are still keen on signing the young Barça midfielder. Furthermore, the financial aspect of such an operation is something that the Catalan club is not fully ignoring either, as per the update.

The source of the report in question is Fichajes, and it highlights three teams in particular. In terms of obvious intent, Serie A side Como, led by former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas, and Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, led by Erik ten Hag, stand out.

Como have made clear moves to position themselves as frontrunners, with their project aiming to establish the club among Italy’s elite. Their potential offer could exceed €30 million, a figure that would be difficult for Barcelona to dismiss in the current climate.

Leverkusen, meanwhile, view Casado as a perfect fit for Erik ten Hag’s high-tempo, possession-based style, valuing his dynamism and ability to distribute the ball. While Como have moved quicker in recent days, Leverkusen’s interest could turn into a competitive bid if the player shows willingness to leave.

As for the third suitor, that would be Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid. While they are reportedly not as active as the other two sides currently, they could potentially move quickly if international pressure begins to catch on.

Barcelona midfielder unlikely to leave

However, this all sounds too unlikely to be a real possibility. After all, credible sources have recently confirmed that Casado’s objective remains to succeed at Barça, and he remains fully committed to the Catalan club.
