England have today released their squad for the Under 19s European Championships in Slovakia, and there are 3 Chelsea players in the mix.

Teddy Sharman-Lowe goes as one of three goalkeepers, and centre back Bashir Humphries joins him.

Harvey Vale – who made his first team bow last season – goes as one of the forwards.

This is a big tournament for all involved, but especially for this group who missed the U17 version because of Covid.

England won this tournament back in 2017, with both Reece James and Mason Mount playing an important role before their step up to senior football.

Let’s hope our boys out there can make a similar impact this time in the tournament – and in the years to come – as Mount and James did.

All the games in this tournament are available to watch on the BBC iPlayer, with all games throughout the tournament kicking off at 7pm BST.
