Late on Wednesday night, Thorgan Hazard sealed a return to his homeland as he left Borussia Dortmund to join Anderlecht.
The transfer window in Belgium remained open until midnight on Wednesday, with the 30-year-old’s move being confirmed shortly after it closed.
He leaves Dortmund after making 123 appearances in which he scored 18 goals and provided 21 assists.
Hazard, who spent a spell on loan at PSV last season, joined Dortmund from Borussia Mönchengladbach four years ago and won a DFB Pokal during his time at the club.
