Chelsea have another big Premier League match tonight against Arsenal, and that means another quality Thomas Tuchel press conference.

As always, the best bits come when the cameras are turned off and the media get their time alone with the Blues boss.

And the subject of the summer transfer window naturally came up once again.

Chelsea are expected to be active in the market, albeit probably not overly busy in terms of mirroring last summer. However, it is clear from Tuchel’s words that he will be looking to add in one or two players to improve the squad this summer.

A lot will probably depend on who they can sell and whether they can get the right fees for certain players, but for one a striker has often been mentioned as a priority in the summer.

As reported by The Telegraph, Tuchel says he is not going to have any fallouts with the board over transfers, but they both have their ideas.

“Transfer periods can be real mood breaks between coaches and clubs. And I don’t want to have this ever again.

“I have zero ambition to ruin this atmosphere, not for myself or for anybody else. Do we have some ideas how to improve the squad? Yes, we do. But will we fight about it? No, we will not. We will discuss it and first of all we will finish this season because it is not time to reflect now.”
